Recently, SoleFiori Technology Company (SoleFiori) and Guangdong Mellow Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (Mellow Energy) jointly developed a four-terminal HJT-Perovskite tandem solar module. The module has been certified by the China Photovoltaic Testing Centre (CPVT). The newly launched large-size tandem module measures 1.2×1.6 meters and integrates advanced HJT-Perovskite tandem technology. By combining the strengths of perovskite and HJT cells, the module enhances photoelectric conversion efficiency. According to CPVT certification tests, the front-side conversion efficiency reaches 24.68%. This breakthrough marks a significant step for SoleFiori in next-generation solar technology.

HJT and perovskite cells demonstrate excellent spectral matching under natural light. With its unique structural design, HJT cells can be stacked on perovskite cells through the TCO layer, optimizing the conversion process and enhancing the stability and reliability of modules. Perovskite materials offer high light absorption, long carrier diffusion lengths, and adjustable bandgaps. While their use in single-junction cells faces challenges in stability and manufacturing, stacking them with HJT cells significantly boosts efficiency. Industry experts believe that HJT-Perovskite tandem cells are a key solution for the future of photovoltaics (PV), with theoretical efficiency exceeding 40%.

This breakthrough is driven by SoleFiori and Mellow Energy's expertise in material innovation, interface optimization, and process refinement. These advances improve energy conversion pathways and reduce losses, delivering superior performance.
