On Feb. 13^th, Tang Jianxin, Executive Head of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the Faculty of Innovation Engineering, Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST), led a team to visit SoleFiori Technology Company (SoleFiori). Accompanied by the SoleFiori team, the team toured the advanced heterojunction (HJT) solar cell production line and laboratory facilities, highly praising SoleFiori’s technological innovations and scientific achievements.

After the tour, a seminar was held. SoleFiori’s senior management team, including CEO Li Changhong, CFO Zhang Junyi, and Vice President of Technology Hou Hongtao, had an in-depth discussion with Tang about future cooperation directions. Tang shared the latest research progress at MUST in perovskite tandem solar cell technology, expressing hope for joint innovation in this field, particularly in talent cultivation and research resource sharing, through school-enterprise cooperation.

SoleFiori has always been committed to driving innovation in photovoltaic technology and is especially eager to achieve breakthroughs in perovskite-HJT technology, stated Li. Through collaboration with MUST, SoleFiori aims to accelerate the industrial application of technology and contribute to the sustainable development of the Greater Bay Area (GBA).

In the context of actively promoting green economic development in Hong Kong and Macao, a delegation led by Sun Dong, Secretary of Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, recently visited SoleFiori. As a global green technology and finance hub, Hong Kong has always been committed to promoting green innovation and low-carbon economy, striving to become an international innovation center for green energy technology.

The strategic vision and practical initiatives in green technology in Hong Kong and Macao have provided valuable development opportunities for SoleFiori. These efforts have strongly supported the leadership of the GBA in the global green energy industry. In the future, SoleFiori will continue to strengthen cooperation with MUST and various sectors in Hong Kong, actively respond to the dual carbon goals, and contribute to the GBA’s development into an international center for technological innovation.
