Recently, the Development and Reform Commission of Guangdong Province released its list of provincial key projects, including the SoleFiori Heterojunction (HJT) New High-Efficiency Solar Cell Project in Zhuhai (SoleFiori Project). This designation as a provincial key project provides strong support for the project to continue high-quality production of efficient heterojunction photovoltaic products in 2024.

The SoleFiori Project, a pillar project in Zhuhai City, was officially launched in April 2023. By the end of the same year, it successfully produced Guangdong Province's first mass-produced HJT module, achieving the ambitious goal of starting production in the same year as signing. In January 2024, it also produced Guangdong Province's first mass-produced HJT cell, marking a new chapter in the HJT technology roadmap for Guangdong's photovoltaic industry.

On January 22, 2024, the Development and Reform Commission of Guangdong Province led the release of the 'Notice on Cultivating Strategic Emerging Industry Clusters in New Energy in Guangdong Province (2023-2025)', emphasizing strong support for the production of high-efficiency crystalline silicon solar cells such as HJT cells and key equipment manufacturing. This initiative includes robust planning coordination and policy support for companies like SoleFiori engaged in the HJT technology sector.

Shortly after the Lunar New Year festivities, the SoleFiori Project was designated as a provincial key project, reflecting the Guangdong Provincial Government's commitment to the development of the new energy sector, particularly the photovoltaic industry, and its recognition of the HJT technology pathway. This designation also acknowledges the important role that the SoleFiori Project will play in accelerating industrial innovation and upgrading in Guangdong Province and Zhuhai City.

2024 Marks SoleFiori Project's 'Production Sprint Year', as it enters a crucial phase of its first-phase production. Being designated a provincial key project holds significant importance for accelerating manufacturing processes and facilitating seamless internal and external circulation for SoleFiori. Moreover, it holds crucial value for Zhuhai City in enhancing urban energy levels, revitalizing high-end manufacturing industries, and optimizing the business environment. This reflects Guangdong Province's commitment to 'firmly pursue high-quality development and uphold manufacturing industry leadership'

As a key project for Guangdong Province in 2024, the SoleFiori Project remains committed to prioritizing industry, aiming for efficient production of high-end HJT modules and cells.
