Cambodian Deputy Commerce Minister Visits SoleFiori to Strengthen Green Energy Cooperation
Oknha Lin Zongying, Cambodia’s deputy commerce minister, led a delegation to SoleFiori Technology Company (SoleFiori). The delegation toured SoleFiori’s heterojunction (HJT) solar cell production line and explored its clean energy technologies and applications.
Lin praised SoleFiori’s advancements in high-efficiency photovoltaic (PV) technology, including rooftop PV installations and solar carports. He said the company’s HJT technologies and solutions aligned with global energy transformation trends and offered strong market potential.
He discussed renewable energy cooperation with SoleFiori’s senior management, including its founder, Li Xiang. Lin noted Cambodia’s leadership in renewable energy generation among major Southeast Asian nations and its commitment to expanding clean energy like solar power. The government seeks partnerships with SoleFiori to advance clean energy adoption and drive Cambodia’s sustainable development.
Li welcomed the delegation and outlined SoleFiori’s strategy for PV research, smart manufacturing, and global expansion. “We will deepen collaboration under the Belt and Road Initiative to upgrade Cambodia’s clean energy sector and achieve mutual benefits,” he said.
The visit strengthened SoleFiori’s ties with Cambodia and set the stage for broader operations in Southeast Asia. In the future, both sides plan to enhance communication and advance green energy development, supporting the regional energy transition and sustainable development.
