The SoleFiori 8GW Heterojunction Cells + 5GW Modules Project in Zhuhai has been launched.

On the morning of April 13th, the groundbreaking ceremony for the SoleFiori Heterojunction New High-Efficiency Solar Cell Project (hereinafter referred to as the SoleFiori Heterojunction Project) was held at the Fushan Industrial City in Doumen District, Zhuhai. This marks the official launch of a new high-end manufacturing base for high-efficiency heterojunction solar cells and modules, with a total investment of approximately 6.3 billion yuan and an annual output value reaching tens of billions of yuan.

The SoleFiori Heterojunction Project, which had its groundbreaking ceremony, spans approximately 300 mu of land with a total investment of around 6.3 billion yuan. It encompasses a total planned construction area of about 300,000 square meters, with factory buildings custom-built by Gree Group involving an investment of about 1.4 billion yuan. The project is planned to be implemented in three phases, with full production capacity expected by the end of 2025. At that time, it will have the capability to produce 7.2GW of cells annually along with 5GW of modules, achieving an annual output value exceeding 10 billion yuan.

According to the plan, the first phase of the SoleFiori Heterojunction Project is scheduled to commence production by the end of 2023. Gree Group will co-invest to support the establishment of the SoleFiori Heterojunction Project, responsible for land acquisition and custom development of factory buildings, facilitating early production and effectiveness of the project. Currently, the project has successfully initiated site surveying and land leveling processes, and continues to advance the construction of main facilities, as well as utilities including power, water, heating, and gas.
